Horseback RidingMISTY MEADOWS ACTIVITIES

Guests over the age of 7 enjoy custom trail rides through miles of local trail system. Pony rides can be arranged for younger children. Often there is opportunity for leisurely wagon rides down a winding Highlands road. Sheep and their lambs, dogs, cats and the horses and their foals provide plenty of hands-on work opportunities and animal interaction for those so inclined. Other guests prefer to simply observe the routine of the rural lifestyle. Hiking, bird watching, biking, and swimming in a spring-fed lake are all available from Misty Meadows.

You should plan for at least three days in Victoria. Misty Meadows is a peaceful retreat after a busy day “touristing”.

Those wishing to ride the trails while visiting Misty Meadows may wish to consider reserving two nights with us to ensure that this wonderful experience can be experienced during times when our horses are not scheduled to do other things.
