Guests over the age of 7
enjoy custom trail rides through miles of
local trail system. Pony rides can be
arranged for younger children. Often
there is opportunity for leisurely wagon
rides down a winding Highlands road.
Sheep and their lambs, dogs, cats and the
horses and their foals provide plenty of
hands-on work opportunities and animal
interaction for those so inclined. Other
guests prefer to simply observe the
routine of the rural lifestyle. Hiking,
bird watching, biking, and swimming in a
spring-fed lake are all available from
Misty Meadows.
